February 2003 |  Virtual Reality Technology is used to ease pain for the Burn patients at the University Hospital in Copenhagen
| February 2003 Cybermind Interactive Nederland, sponsors the first VR Distraction project in Europe at the Burn Center at the University of Copenhagen. With the help and co-sponsorship of the University of Washington in Seattle, USA (Hunter Hoffman & Dr. David Paterson) Cybermind worked for months on the reproduction of a similar Virtual
Reality set up to that currently being used at the Harborview Burn Center. For this project we used our hi-Res900ST 3D HMD, the FasTrak® from Polhemus and a powerfull PC workstation with Dual Intel® Xeon 2.0GHz processor and the nVidia Quadro4 900XGL 128MB Graphic card and the SnowWorld softwaretitle from Unversity Washington. After the successful completion of this project we are currently working on a similar system for the Martini Hospital,

For this project STT based in San Sebastian, Spain used 16x Cybermind's hi-Res900 immersive HMD with the InterTrax˛ head tracker to offer visitors to the park an unforgotable experience.  | Volkswagen VR Experience During the AutoRAI2001 in Amsterdam, Cybermind
Interactive Nederland stole the show. For Volkswagen automobile we presented a Virtual simulation of the production line of the Volkswagen Golf. Visitors were virtually placed at the begin of the production line as a sheet metal plate and during a time frame of 4 minutes, transformed into a Volkswagen Golf. Visitors were able to look 360 degrees around and see all important elements of the production line. All special effects were synchronised with the software and Cybermind's hi-Res800
Immersive Head Mounted Display with the InterTrax˛ head tracker made the experience unforgetable. The show was a enormous success attracting more than 15,000 visitors in 10 days |
